Talk with Javier Sierra, loyal Beardburys customer

Javier Sierra, from the city of the "cierzo", Zaragoza, started in the world of barbering at a very young age, launching his own barbershop when he was only 22 years old. Both he and his barbershop innovate and offer a service that stimulates all the senses.

Javier Sierra Peluqueros (Zaragoza) began in 2000, with the question "What would I like to be offered if I were the client?", and his answer: A type of hairdressing that stimulates all the senses, and that is constantly evolving

And thanks to this, after two decades, they are still in continuous innovation, with a team of 3 people doing what they like the most: making each client feel good.

Name: Javier Sierra 

When I was a child I wanted to be: I wasn't sure, I just wanted to be happy. 

Reference in the barber world: Jesús Muñoz, Spanish trainer and world reference, specialised in the Menswork cutting method. I had the pleasure of learning all the techniques with him and even collaborating in trainings.

Favourite quote: "The good compete against each other, the best against themselves". 

Best advice you've ever been given: "Try to be happy, not perfect". 

Your first job as a hairdresser: In a barbershop in my hometown Zaragoza. It's called Salón Felez. 

Style you most like to work with: I try to personalise the client according to their tastes and interests, but, above all, we really like clients who bring a beard. Along with hair, it is the facial corrector for men. With the beard you can make the necessary corrections to make them look more attractive: a thicker lip, correcting the under-chin, a squarer jaw, mitigating wrinkles, lengthening or narrowing the oval, depending on the need.

Best moment of your professional career so far: When I decided to open my first salon, at the age of 22. It was an exciting moment that, although I was a bit scared, I was clear about it all the time. It helped me to grow both personally and professionally and to establish myself and my team as what I am today. 

A current male grooming trend: We let ourselves be influenced by the client's musical tastes. It is really inspiring and a lot of fun to give that touch, it can be subtle or more powerful. At the moment that is our trend. Beardburys covers all needs.

A dream to fulfil: To learn to play the electric guitar very well. 

What do you look for when choosing a brand of products for your business: A brand that is different in quality, that does not "prostitute" itself in physical shops or online. I like designer brands with a tendency to care for the environment, and that are natural. 

Addicted to: My breakfasts. 

Favourite food and drink: My mother's tajín, and good wines.

Tip you recommend to your clients: That they use products suitable to their needs and of quality to take care of their hair, scalp and to enhance their style when styling their hair.
